Specified widows, divorcees and certain other married women may receive relaxation up to 40 years under the cited Delhi Government instructions. Regular Delhi High Court employees have no upper-age limit if otherwise qualified; this does not extend to other government departments, PSUs or Delhi District Courts. For shorthand, up to 5% mistakes are permitted: 27.5 for SPA and 25 for PA. A full mistake deducts 4 marks and a half mistake deducts 2 marks; more than the permissible mistakes disqualifies the candidate. Two shorthand attempts are given and the better attempt counts.

The descriptive paper includes an essay of 250 words (40 marks), letter writing (15), grammar and comprehension (25), Hindi-to-English translation (10), and English-to-Hindi translation (10). It is in English except the translation portions. Minimum marks are 50% for General and 45% for reserved/PwBD candidates; PA has no General vacancy.
